Battlestar Galactica Online

This shirt was a piece of swag from E3.
I wasn't even looking for this shirt, this game, or its booth while I was there but the fates aligned and I was right in front when they were handing these out. I was like... ! Shirts! *run* *snatch* *cheer* You could only get this at their booth during E3 last year as a giveaway.
The material itself is pretty standard for these shirts; I'm sure they buy them in bulk and they're made in China or at least somewhere foreign. The printing is nice but it could be better. It is a thinly printed design with a lot of halftone dots going on. The colors are bright and have not cracked much but I can definitely see the ink coming off this rather quickly. Black and medium are my forte and this shirt has that in spades you could say. Boy, do I know how to pick 'em or what?
For Battlestar Galactica Online the designers took the regular Battlestar Galactica logo and just put the word "Online" under it. Simple and clean, but a bit obvious I guess? It gets the point across and doesn't mess with the already established brand. So if you see it you're like, "aww yeah, BSG! ...Online?" and then you've got to take a second look. On the back is the exact same logo but with the developer's logo on there as well "Bigpoint.com" -apparently they're a German company who make a lot of web-based MMORPGs-.
I like to wear this around when I know I'm going to meet some fans of the show or people who might get the shirt. Battlestar Galactica shirts are few and far between and this one is even rarer. Typically I don't even flaunt the "online" part because the actual game is almost guaranteed to be awful since it is web based. In other words, check out my awesome BSG shirt!

Bobby first got me into this show. I've always been into sci-fi TV shows from 7-Days to Star Trek to Dark Angel. However, I wasn't really a fan of the original Battlestar Gactica series from a long time ago, making this series a hard sell. After much debate and conjecture, with a healthy dose of free time I was convinced. We watched all of the first few seasons back to back and wound up at the post-season movie, entitled "Razor." The problem that we ran into was the series still had a final season to go. While we were ramped up from the series being amazing we were forced to wait for the last season at a grueling week by week drip from SyFy. The wait was most definitely worth it, I loved the suspense and epic ending to that series. This shirt is in memory that, not the lackluster MMORPG; just so everyone knows.
